March is Self-Harm Awareness Month — a reminder that how we respond to people in their most vulnerable moments can change the trajectory of their lives.

Self-harm is not about attention. It's about coping, pain, and unmet needs. And it's not the same as suicidal behavior, though the two can overlap. That distinction matters — it shapes how mobile crisis teams assess risk, tailor their approach, and connect people to the right support.

Our teams lead with empathy, not judgment. That's the difference between a response that helps and one that harms.

March is National Social Work Month — and we're proud to celebrate the social workers at Behavioral Health Link who show up in the hardest moments.

Responding in the community, supporting individuals in acute distress, connecting people to what they need to move forward — our social workers bring resilience and heart to crisis care every single day.

To our team: thank you. You make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we serve. 💚
