I created The Language of Intuition as a 10-week live course for people who feel a deeper intuitive capacity within themselves and want to explore it with more confidence, discernment, and self-trust.

We’ll practice reading energy, recognizing your intuitive channels, attuning your nervous system so you can receive coherent information, and learning how to work with what you receive in a grounded, relational way—all within an intimate cohort and supportive practice space.

Sometimes nothing in our life changes...
..except the channel we're tuned into.

I've been reflecting on how quickly my experience can shift—not because my circumstances are different, but because my perspective is.

When I'm caught in stress, grief, or overwhelm, it's easy to believe that's the whole story. My world gets smaller. My body tightens. Everything feels heavier.

And then, sometimes, something simple happens.

I step outside.
I reconnect with my purpose.
I dance in the kitchen.
I watch my daughter delight in something ordinary.

The problem may still be there. But suddenly it isn't the only thing I can see.

One of the greatest gifts my spiritual practice has given me isn't the ability to avoid hardship. It's the reminder that I am more than the hardship I'm experiencing.

That said... this isn't about pretending everything is okay.

When we're moving through grief, trauma, or survival mode, accessing joy or purpose isn't always available—and that's okay. Sometimes the practice isn't to "raise the vibration". It's to receive support, tend to yourself with love, and remember that no season lasts forever.

A question I like to ask myself:

What channel am I tuned into right now?

Not as a way to judge... just to notice.

Maybe it's a question that serves you, too. 🌿

This fall, I'm inviting a small group of curious humans to join me for **The Language of Intuition**—a 10-week live online cohort exploring the foundations of energy reading, intuitive clarity, and self-trust.

Together we'll learn through:

One of the biggest blocks I see isn't a lack of ability—it's a lack of permission.

Permission to be curious.
Permission to not know.
Permission to take a guess.....and maybe even get it wrong.

Because that's how intuition grows: through practice, play, and collaboration—not perfection.

One of the sneakiest traps on the intuitive path?

Thinking you're making it all up. 😅

Last weekend I held a live reading circle at a gathering, and near the end someone asked if I could connect with his wife who had recently passed away.

When I tuned into my channel the first thing I heard was:

"She's a bright light."

My inner critic immediately jumped in:

"That's so cliché."
"Anyone could say that."

I almost dismissed it.

Thankfully, I've learned that intuition and doubt often arrive together.

So I shared it anyway.

Later, the man told me that hearing those exact words was deeply meaningful. His wife truly was a bright light, and everyone who knew her described her that way.

It reminded me of something I keep learning over and over:

Sometimes the message we're most tempted to dismiss is the very one we're meant to trust.

Not every intuitive hit is dramatic. Often it's simple. Quiet. Obvious, even.
And then doubt shows up and tries to convince you it's not real.

The practice isn't becoming free of doubt.

The practice is learning to trust yourself a little more each time.

Lately I've been reflecting on grief.

Not just the grief that comes with losing a loved one, but the many forms of loss we experience as humans:

The loss of trust.
The loss of a sense of belonging.
The loss of a dream we thought would happen.
The loss of a version of ourselves.

What I've noticed—in my own life and in my work with clients—is that grief does something surprising when we're willing to be with it.

It softens us.

And in that softening, something opens.

When we're no longer spending so much energy pushing away the pain, we often become more sensitive to what is true. We can hear our inner voice more clearly. We become more aware of what is aligned, what is no longer working, and what is quietly asking for our attention.

The grieving journey is not easy. But it has a powerful way of clearing and making space in our hearts and minds.

And when the dust settles, we're often standing closer to ourselves than before.

Sometimes intuition answers a different question than the one we asked.

I once did a reading for a woman who wanted guidance about getting pregnant. She had been trying for a long time and was beginning to fear it might not happen.

What came through?

✨ Make art.
✨ Work with your hands.
✨ Return to something that brings you joy.

Not exactly the answer she expected. But she followed the guidance.

She started making dreamcatchers again.
Her creativity came alive.
Something softened as she reconnected with her joy.

Years later, I learned she had welcomed a baby. :)

Was the guidance about getting pregnant? Not directly. But it was about returning to herself. And sometimes that's where the healing begins.

Intuition doesn't always arrive as a detailed map.

Sometimes it comes as an image. A feeling. A phrase.
A gentle nudge that doesn't fully make sense.

And often, its meaning unfolds later.

Last week I wrote about resistance—and then immediately got the chance to practice what I was preaching. 😆

I just returned from a six-day women's gathering called We Are The Weavers. It was one of the most nourishing and deep experiences I've had in a long time.

We lived simply on the land.
We became part of a village and took care of each other.
We practiced life skills together and made beautiful creations with our hands (mine is in the photo!)
We sang, shared meals, stories, and danced by the fire.
We steadied our nervous systems and connected more deeply with ourselves, each other, and the earth.

The funny thing is, before I made the decision to go, I had plenty of reasons not to.

A very long drive with a toddler who doesn't sleep in the car.
Rustic camping conditions (and lots of cloth diapers to wash!).
Rain and cold nights in the forecast.
A week away from work.
Multiple scheduling challenges.
Lots of unknowns.

Committing to it and making it there felt HARD!

But underneath the logistics puzzle and resistance was something else:

A quiet, steady yes.

Not a clear roadmap.
Not total certainty.
Just a feeling that kept returning.

I've noticed that intuition often speaks this way.

It doesn't always explain itself, and it rarely provides guarantees. But it has a way of gently tugging at our hearts until we're willing to listen.

And when we do? Sometimes we're led exactly where we need to be.

Sometimes resistance shows up like:
avoiding the thing
cleaning your house instead 😅
overthinking
procrastinating
suddenly becoming very interested in random admin tasks

And sometimes it shows up as pushing ourselves so hard that we disconnect from our bodies, creativity, and actual needs in the process.

I’ve been reflecting lately on how many of us were taught there are only two options: avoid or force.

But what if there’s another way?

What if, instead of fighting resistance or trying to outrun it, we met ourselves there with curiosity?

Not collapsing into it.
Not overriding ourselves.
Just staying present long enough to listen.

I even experience resistance writing these posts 😂
And usually what helps isn’t shaming myself into action—it’s staying with the discomfort long enough to take a small step forward.

That’s often when the energy starts moving again.
