Really great article. Ketogenic diet has been my journey for the past year. Yes, I've had ups and downs, but finally managed to stay on the wagon since February this year. New to KETO/OS? Here's a good way to start.
Bullet Point Checklist for 40 Days of Shred
1. Take those embarrassing pre-pix in whatever clothing you are comfortable in for social media(maybe for later)...front, side, back
2. Write down your goal weight and find a picture of someone who looks the way you want to.
3. Check out the approved food list for the 40 days. Includes low glycemic index vegetables and fruit, lean proteins. Cut out: all fats even to cook with, including dairy, grains ect...check the list.
4. Intermittent Fasting: no food between 8pm and 12 noon. Drink first Max upon arising, burning your own stores all morning, 2nd dose around 3pm. (can start with 1/2 packet to begin)
5. Eat 1 vegetable/1 fruit/1protein at 12 noon and 6pm.
6. You can wait longer to eat if you are not hungry, it just means you're burning more stored fat.
7. Weigh yourself everyday at the same time. Keep a log and you will notice correlations between what you eat and how fast you are shedding. If you cheat because of social events just take an extra half a pack or pack before you go to sleep at night with lots of water.
8. Keep the next weight goal in mind, example if you are 160 pounds keep 155 in your mind. Tell the body where you want to burn next and congratulate yourself with every advancement forward. Haha like Abs! Abs! Abs! Save the tatas!lol
9. Exercise needs to be kept to cardio and non muscle tearing squats and light weights.
You should NOT be sore the next day otherwise this will bump you out of fat burning Zone. I highly recommend lots of squats as you are losing weight to keep it perky! We are cutting fat right now and will build muscle after the shred down phase.

It may take a few days on the product even up to a week to clear brain fog as your body is getting rid of your addiction to sugar/carbs and rebalancing hormonal pathways, not having to run so hard on adrenals.

It's a beautiful (albeit cool:) morning. What makes it even more beautiful is being 2 more pounds down and another inch lost in the waist to fit in my capri jeans that I haven't worn in 2+ years!
