After working for more than 30 years, one of my Medicare clients recently retired and discovered that the life insurance coverage she had through her employer did not follow her into retirement.

Like many people, she believed that coverage would still be there when she needed it. Thankfully, we were able to find an affordable final expense policy that fits her retirement budget. She also secured two IUL policies for her grandchildren—planting financial seeds for their future.

She went from unexpectedly having no life insurance coverage to putting three affordable policies in place: one to help protect her family from the burden of her final expenses and two to help build a foundation for the next generation.

What a meaningful step for her—and a rewarding moment for me as her agent. This is why reviewing your coverage before and after retirement is so important. ❤️
