Middle and high school students dive into the world of sports medicine with the 13th annual RCPS Student Athletic Aide Program Training Camp, hosted at Salem High School. This multi-year program trains students to serve as Student Athletic Aides for school sports teams and provides additional training for team managers. This week, first-year Student Athletic Aide trainees learn about human anatomy, CPR, concussions, treating and wrapping sprained limbs, and more. In addition, students hear from guest speakers about a variety of careers, such as physical trainers at the collegiate and professional level, physical therapists, orthopedics, and more.
