What is Autism?
Autism (also called Autism Spectrum Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental difference that can impact communication, social interaction, sensory processing, and behavior. “Spectrum” means it shows up differently in each person—there’s no one-size-fits-all.
✨ Many autistic individuals may:
• communicate in unique ways (spoken words, AAC devices, gestures, scripts)
• prefer routines and predictability
• experience sensory sensitivities (sound, touch, lights, textures)
• have intense interests and strengths
How ABA can help:
ABA therapy supports skill-building for everyday life—communication, coping skills, transitions, social skills, independence, and more—while honoring the child’s individual needs.
