A little about me for those who dont know:

Hi, I’m Kristen. 😊
The woman behind Illuminating Light—and the very human soul behind the readings, healing, and teaching.
I’m an intuitive, medium, healer, teacher, business owner, mom, and a woman who has lived through enough chapters of life to know that healing rarely happens in a straight line.
I believe deeply in intuition—but I’m also incredibly human. I laugh a lot. I swear sometimes. 😂 I love the mountains, forests, long hikes, crystals, tattoos, meaningful conversations, and those moments when life gets quiet enough that you can finally hear yourself again.
My own life has taught me about grief, starting over, trusting myself, letting go, rebuilding, and learning that sometimes the person we’ve been searching for all along is the person looking back at us in the mirror.
And that has shaped the way I work with people.
I’m not here to tell you how to live your life or pretend I have all the answers. Whether I’m doing a reading, mediumship, healing work, or teaching a class, my intention is always the same:
to help you hear yourself a little more clearly.
To remind you of what you already carry within you.
Illuminating Light has grown and changed over the years because I have grown and changed too. And lately, I feel more like myself than I have in a very long time.
Less trying to become something.
More simply being.

Usui Reiki I is the beginning of your journey into the practice of Reiki and energy healing. This beginner-friendly class introduces you to the foundations of the Usui Reiki system while helping you develop a deeper awareness of energy, intuition, and your own natural ability to support healing and balance.

Reiki is a gentle, hands-on energy healing practice that works with universal life-force energy to support relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. Reiki I focuses first on you—learning to connect with Reiki, becoming aware of how energy feels and flows, and using Reiki as a practice for self-care, grounding, and personal healing.

During this class, you will learn:

• The history and foundations of Usui Reiki
• The Reiki principles and philosophy
• Understanding energy and how Reiki works
• How to sense and become more aware of energy
• Reiki hand positions
• How to practice Reiki on yourself
• Grounding, intention, and energetic awareness
• How to incorporate Reiki into your everyday life

You will also receive your Usui Reiki I attunement, opening and strengthening your connection to Reiki energy.
There is no previous Reiki or energy-healing experience required. This class is designed for anyone who feels called to Reiki, wants to deepen their connection with energy, or simply wants to learn a beautiful healing practice for themselves and those around them.

You will leave with the foundational knowledge and hands-on experience needed to begin practicing Reiki with greater awareness, confidence, and trust in yourself.

That is one of the biggest questions I hear.

Intuition doesn't always arrive as a loud voice or an undeniable sign. Sometimes it's a feeling in your body. A thought that seems to come from nowhere. A knowing you can't explain. A pull toward something—or away from it.

The problem isn't always that we aren't intuitive.

Sometimes we've simply spent so long questioning ourselves that we've forgotten how to recognize when our intuition IS speaking.

Stop in, browse, take a breath, and see what you’re drawn to.

We are officially in the post-eclipse energy, and now comes the integration. 🌑✨ The eclipse may have brought realizations, emotions, endings, or even unexpected shifts to the surface. Now it’s about allowing everything to settle and noticing what feels different within you.

You don’t have to have all the answers yet. Sometimes clarity comes after the intensity passes, when we give ourselves enough space to actually hear what our intuition has been trying to say.
Pay attention to what you no longer feel the need to chase, explain, force, or hold onto. That may be where the biggest shift has already happened. 💫
