Confidence needs evidence. You’ve either successfully completed THE thing before, or you know that you’re prepared and have put yourself in similar challenges and had the courage to do THE thing no matter the outcome.

No matter which, courage is the foundation.

You will be judged - do it anyway.

One of the applying the concept of process > outcome.

He’s focused fully on his preparation, his passion for the game, and his complete dedication. He accepts that the outcome is not fully his to control.

Placing his focus on controlling the outcome (which he cant ultimately do) creates a negative pressure and weight that he refuses to own.

He will play with freedom and joy. That will bring out his best. The rest — is up to the football gods - as he suggests.

Happy Mother’s Day to the one and only! The one that makes everything work. To the one that has shown our daughter’s how they deserve to be loved, and our son how he should treat the woman he loves. To the one that has made me a better man. Love you always, Juli!

The portal hasn’t made hard/demanding/great coaching impossible…it’s revealed who can do it.

As head coach of National Champion is explaining players now CHOOSE the coach/program and they want to play for.

But they may be searching for elite coach and program. The one that can combine high standards and expectations, with growth and development, connection, teaching and learning, psychological understanding and skill development, ethical core-values, and direct honesty that builds deep trust.

These have ALWAYS been the principles of elite coaches, leaders, and teachers. These aren’t new.

Those that didn’t have these principles built into their approach and have relied on “my way or the highway” leadership are absolutely going to struggle. It isn’t impossible. There will still be some that can do this successfully, but it will be fewer further apart.
