Two sick days instead of TEN! Here’s what changed when I actually supported my body.

When I started feeling that same pressure in my sinuses, the low fever, and the achiness settling in, my stomach sank a little. I had just been through this. Those exact same symptoms had knocked me out for ten days straight just a few weeks ago. I missed a LOT of work because I was really sick.
This time I recognized the symptoms quickly and I was determined to not go down like that again.

Within the first day I got an IV vitamin and mineral infusion to give my immune system what it needed to actually fight back. I also started using my new ozone ear therapy machine, which targeted my sinuses and upper respiratory directly. It was actually my first time ever using it and I was so impressed with how much it helped. Within 1 hour I started feeling sinus pressure relief and the gross stuff started moving out of my sinuses.

Two days! That’s how long I was down this time, not 10.

What an infusion nurse does when she gets sick.

This past week really knocked me down. Full respiratory illness and I was not bouncing back the way I wanted to. I have too many patients counting on me to take care of them, for me to be out sick.

So I did what I know. I got an immune focused vitamin infusion to give my body the cellular support it needed, and I did auricular ozone therapy to locally target my sinuses and upper respiratory tract.

I am a firm believer in supporting the body with intentional, targeted care. Not just managing symptoms but actually nourishing your cells and giving your immune system what it needs to do its job.

Do I know for certain these therapies shortened my sick time? I cannot make that promise. What I can tell you is that I felt a significant difference in my recovery and I do not believe that was a coincidence.

While I was at the conference, I took time to receive a vitamin infusion, too.

So much of what I do is centered around caring for others. Supporting their health, their needs, and their well-being.

Last weekend I attended a clinical conference dedicated to IV infusion therapy. This past week I have been reflecting on what I learned.

Time spent learning alongside other clinicians, reviewing emerging research, and discussing best practices is foundational to responsible care. Infusion therapy continues to evolve, and remaining current ensures care is delivered thoughtfully and safely.
