Way to bring your Warriors' Spirit to the Special Olympics Track and Field Region C Spring Games! Our athletes brought their A Games for sure, and many of them will be representing Weston Bridges at State this June. The following residents brought home Gold Medals: Liam B., Bradley C., Kevin E., Katie G., Matt G., Jackson K., Jason K., Sam L., David O., Emma R., James S., and Angelina S. We are proud of all our athletes, and love the spirit and friendship they bring to this competitive event.

Congrats to our resident Jason K. for doing an amazing job as the PA announcer for last night's performance of Murder on the Orient Express at the Fox Valley Park District. He also handed out programs with fellow residents Liam B. And Bret V. and the three of them had a great time supporting local live theater. This was made possible through their participation in services at the Center for Achieving Independence. Well done, gentlemen!

Calling all supporters of the Arts, Weston Bridges, and Center for Achieving Independence! Our friends will have a booth of original artwork and crafts at the Atrévete Cafe 1888 Art Show on Friday, April 17th from 6-9 pm. Please come out and support our efforts! Money raised will be saved and spent on a fun outing for our "starving artists"-- we'll vote as a group on a destination. Here is a sneak preview of some of our items. Hope to see you there!

Big fan of Coffee Club!

Atrévete Cafe 1888 is a local favorite right here in Aurora—super close and easy for residents to walk over. It’s a welcoming spot with great coffee and even better vibes!

It also encourages socialization, independence through walking, and practicing everyday skills like making purchases.

We host a staff-led Coffee Club every Wednesday, but many of our residents enjoy stopping in on their own time too! ☕️🫶
