The inpatient burn unit cares for critically ill burn patients as well as patients who require longer-term burn care and is located on the Fourth Floor, North Tower of Wellstar Cobb Medical Center.

The center cares for:
🔥 Adults: burns of all Total Body Surface Area percentages
👶 Pediatrics: patients age 1 and older with burns involving less than 20% TBSA

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) involves breathing oxygen inside a pressurized chamber. For appropriately selected patients and conditions, it can be incorporated into a broader treatment plan.

The JMS/Wellstar Cobb program offers state-of-the-art hyperbaric oxygen therapy as both an inpatient and outpatient service.
