This is bigger than push-ups.

This is for the dads who walked into the NICU carrying fear, stress, trauma, medical bills, work, family, marriage, and the silent pressure to be strong for everyone else.

June is Men’s Mental Health Month.

And this Father’s Day, we are launching the 2026 Built For This Push-Up Challenge to raise awareness for the emotional, mental, and physical weight NICU dads carry.

The Challenge:
100 push-ups a day for the number of days your baby was in the NICU.

Post your journey. Tell your story. Tag another dad. Build the community.

Because no NICU dad should carry this alone.

Some dads walk into the NICU carrying bags no one else can see.

Stress. Fear. Trauma. Fatigue. PTSD. Medical bills. Work. Marriage. Family. The unknown.

NICU dads are often expected to be strong, silent, steady, and available for everyone else — but dads need support too.

This June, during Men’s Mental Health Month, The NICU Dad is launching the 2026 Built For This Push-Up Challenge.

The challenge starts on Father’s Day 2026.

Do 100 push-ups a day for the number of days your baby spent in the NICU.

If your baby was in the NICU for 10 days, you go 10 days.
If your baby was in the NICU for 67 days, you go 67 days.
If your baby was in the NICU for 100 days, you go 100 days.

Every rep represents strength, awareness, and support for NICU families.

This is not about being the strongest person in the room.
It is about making sure no dad feels like he has to carry the weight alone.

Join the movement. Share your story. Challenge another dad.

Starts Father’s Day 2026.

A movement is coming.
This Father’s Day, The NICU Dad Built For This Push-Up Challenge returns for 2026.
100 push-ups a day.
For the number of days your baby was in the NICU.
Every rep has a reason.
For the dads who carried fear, stress, trauma, fatigue, medical bills, and still showed up.
For the families who walked out changed.
For the babies who made us stronger than we ever thought we could be.
Join the 2026 movement.
Share your story. Tag your challenge. Challenge another dad.
