My name is Angel Melendez. I’m a Certified Asthma Educator, Respiratory Care Therapist, and current PhD student. I also have the privilege of serving the Texas Society for Respiratory Care as Social Media Chair, Promotions Chair, and West Region Director.

I may wear multiple hats, but one thing remains the same: I give my all to everything I do.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve, lead, collaborate, and help strengthen the TSRC community. I’m especially excited to continue growing our Social Media Committee, developing new ideas, and finding creative ways to connect respiratory care professionals across Texas.

If you’re interested in learning more about social media, content creation, promotion, or getting involved with the committee, send me a message or reach out to TSRC through direct message.

I’m happy to serve and lead this committee, and I look forward to its continued growth and success. 💙🫁

My name is Kandis Davis, LMT, RRT. I’m a proud graduate of Lone Star College–Kingwood and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Cardiopulmonary Sciences at LSU. I’m excited to be a part of the TSRC Social Media Committee and also serve on the Early Professionals Committee.

I have a passion for leadership, advocacy, and bringing more visibility to the respiratory care profession. I’m especially excited to use social media as a way to highlight respiratory therapists, share the work happening within our profession, and create content that helps our respiratory community feel more connected and represented.
