Please read!....
Let’s talk about keto snobs. ⠀
It is actually a thing.⠀⠀
I recently unfollowed a Keto Facebook Group because the people were so negative 👎 & rude. I really enjoyed the group when I first joined, they were very supportive & help give alternatives to recipes &just over all helpful with tips & ideas. ⠀⠀
However, recently they just started bashing people & just saying “NO, No,No,No” all the time when someone asked questions or needed some advice. I tried to ignore it but came to my last straw with them & just had to unfollow them after getting into an argument over Zero Carb bread & low carb breads. ⠀⠀
A guy in the group asked for bread suggestions. I showed him the breads I use and told him how I still stay in ketosis with them. Then 2 woman came along and started going off about how it’s not keto to eat breads & that I was trying to “ sabotage” this guys progress by suggesting these bread alternatives. ⠀⠀
I explained that being Keto is not a diet, it is a state of which your body is in ketosis & as long as the foods fit your micros & you stay in ketosis then it’s still Keto. & that keto is not a one size fits all method. & that the group should be more supportive.⠀⠀
These 2 ladies flipped a wig for real, lol. They starting going off & at this point I could obviously tell that these woman never actually did the research about keto but somehow felt that they knew everything about it. It was so eye opening. No wonder people get turned off if keto, which people like this. It’s frustrating 😪.⠀⠀⠀
