Happy Valentine’s Day Loves! 💖
💐 ‘Tis the season, let’s talk about partnership...
Because the partner(s) you select will have a huge impact on your life, picking the “right” one can be super pressurized 💎💍
I’m not suggesting anyone live their life like a rom-com, but I do base my relationships off of a quote from The Sweetest Thing: “Don’t go looking for Mr. Right. Look for Mr. Right Now. And eventually, if he’s worthy, then one day that ‘now’ part is just going to drop away.”
In the pursuit of love and companionship, there’s often an inherent desire to find “the one” – that perfect match who fulfills all the hopes and dreams. However, fixating solely on finding Mx. Right can lead to missed opportunities and unnecessary pressure. Instead, focusing on Right Now allows for a more organic and fulfilling journey that can be embraced solo or in partnership.
When we embrace the idea of Right Now, we open ourselves up to the possibility of genuine connections and experiences in the present moment. These connections may not always fit our preconceived notions of an ideal partner, but they can offer valuable lessons, growth, and joy along the way.
Moreover, by embracing the “now” aspect of relationships, we release the crushing weight of searching for perfection and allow ourselves to be fully present in the moment. This mindset shift enables us to appreciate the beauty of each interaction and recognize the potential for something deeper to evolve over time.
Ultimately, authentic connections have a way of transcending temporary labels. These days, even marriage has become a temporary state for many.
So, instead of fixating on an elusive idea of perfection, let’s embrace the journey of discovering meaningful connections in the present. Who knows, that Mx. Right Now might just turn out to be Mx. Right after all.
