A love letter to both you and me 💌

Quarter 3 nearly took me out…But we’re here and we’re clinging to joy where we can find it.

It’s in the small morning rituals. It’s in the weekend resets. It’s going to pretty places with someone you love. It’s making a bouquet and giving it to the lady complimenting your arrangement at the next table. It’s watching someone light up when what you taught them finally “clicks.”

It’s in recognizing the overwhelm and taking a step back to protect your peace. It’s gathering around the table for a home cooked meal with your precious grandparents. It’s sitting at that same table playing cards and laughing until you cry. It’s cheering on our friends when they try something new.

It’s in the advice someone has trusted you enough to ask for. It’s in the fresh, oven-baked goods that fill your home with comfort and the smell of warm spices. It’s in the dancing that turns into laughter that turns into twirling around until you’re dizzy.

It’s all over. It’s everywhere. And I’m so lucky that I live in a world where there are Octobers and a chance to start again. 🍂🍁
