Well… those stairs had seen some things. 😂

Peeling paint, rotted wood, wobbly railings… at some point you have to stop trying to save it and just give it the retirement party it deserves.

So we tore out the deteriorated wood and rebuilt the stairs and railings with new pressure-treated lumber.

Now they’re solid, safe, and ready for many more years of trips in and out of the house.

And before anyone asks why we didn’t paint the new wood: pressure-treated lumber needs some time to dry out before it’s painted or stained. We’ll let the wood do its thing first. 😉

Sometimes the best home repair isn’t making the old stuff look prettier. It’s knowing when it’s time to replace it and do it right.

Another one officially brought back from the brink by your local handywomen. 🔨

When “just repaint it” is no longer an option… 😂

These exterior stairs had peeling paint, rotted wood, and railings that had definitely seen better days.

So we tore out the failing material and rebuilt the stairs and railings with new pressure-treated lumber.

Sometimes the right repair isn’t making the old stuff look better. Sometimes you have to know when it’s time to replace it and do it right.

Solid. Safe. Much better.

Some girls like Louis Vuitton, Manolo Blahnik, and Cartier.

Don’t get me wrong, we have a passion for fashion… but the way to our hearts? TOOLS.

And this one had us downright giddy.

We snagged this almost-brand-new Bosch miter saw with the Gravity-Rise stand at an auction for $290.

Retail? Around $1,000.

That’s a win we will brag about.

Even better, no more hauling our personal miter saws back and forth for jobs. This beauty officially belongs to She Force.

I mean … have you ever rolled a Bosch miter saw into a jobsite on a Gravity-Rise stand? 😂
