A huge shoutout to our amazing friends at Comcast! Earlier today, dedicated volunteers from Comcast donated their time and expertise to support job seekers in The Arc Baltimore’s employment services programs. The attendees had a fantastic day gaining valuable career insights during a panel, practicing real-world interviewing skills through mock interviews, and enjoying a fun "What to Wear vs. What NOT to Wear" mini fashion show that demonstrated how to dress for success.

We are filled with gratitude for the incredible generosity of Keepers of the Green! For two decades, their steadfast support has transformed lives across The Arc Baltimore community.

Because of their kindness, a gentleman we support was able to get an electric wheelchair, giving him greater independence and freedom both at home and out in the community. It was so special seeing everyone meet the recipient, Stephen before tee-off—and even more meaningful seeing him thrive in his new chair!

For Take Your Legislator to Work Day, The Arc Baltimore and our employment partner Tessera welcomed Delegate Mark Edelson and his Chief of Staff, Marly Milicic, to the Curtis Bay Coast Guard Base for a firsthand look at inclusive employment.

The visit included a tour of the base and a chance to meet Eldridge, Wesley, and Tavon—three Tessera employees who receive employment support from The Arc Baltimore.

Transforming a space, transforming lives!

A huge, heartfelt thank you to the incredible crew of The Home Depot volunteers who spent the day sprucing up one of our Arc Baltimore homes!

Resident Willie had a wish list of projects to give his yard a fresh new look, and Home Depot generously delivered above and beyond with their time, funding, and materials. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, Willie’s yard got a total transformation—and he and his housemates now have a beautiful outdoor space to enjoy!

We are so grateful for community partners like The Home Depot Foundation who help make our residents' wishes come true.

Coffee + kittens + great company = the ultimate day out! ☕🐾

The Arc Baltimore’s LGBTQ+ Support Group recently visited Affogatto cat café to connect, hang out, and shower some adoptable rescue kittens with love!

Not only was it a blast hanging out together, but all that playtime also helps socialize the rescue kittens Affogatto hosts in partnership with local animal shelters—getting them one step closer to finding their forever homes! 🐱✨

Huge thanks to the team at Affogatto for welcoming our group and making it such a special afternoon! 💕
