A note from Pastor Mo during this Season of Pride:

“I will pour out my Spirit on all humankind.
Your daughters and sons will prophesy,
your elders will have prophetic dreams,
and your young people will see visions.
In those days, I will pour out my Spirit…”
–Joel 2:28-29

Welcome to the Holy Season of Pride! Faith is our shield, our weapon, and our hope when confronted by the sins committed against the LGBTQ+ community, particularly the sin of q***r erasure. Existence is Resistance! Living and being a part of an intentional q***r faith community provides unique opportunities to equip q***rly beloveds to remain whole, to seek healing, and to support one another. Dreams & Visions is one such q***r church offering sanctuary in Baltimore where healing and community can be found. Come check us out!

Below is our list of ways to engage the Divine at Dreams & Visions during this Holy Season of Pride.

June 4, 11, 18, & 25 @ 7pm: Zoom Book Study on Jesus Sophia led by Anita. Please contact Pr. Mo at [email protected] for zoom information and related materials.

June 7 @ 4pm: Pride Simple Sunday (Dreams & Visions)

June 13 @ 10am-1pm: Quiet Pride at 1900 St. Paul Street (Dreams & Visions) AND @ 12 noon-3pm: Quiet Pride at 3107 N Charles Street (Homewood Meeting House)

June 13 @ 10am-6pm: Skylight Boutique open for Baltimore Pride

June 14 @ 4pm: Blessing of Q***rness Prayer Service (Dreams & Visions)

June 14 @ 2pm-6pm: The Skylight Boutique

June 21 @ 4pm: Pride Q***r Saint Service (Dreams & Visions)

June 28 @ 4pm: Pride Service of Affirmation of Baptism after Transition Service (Dreams & Visions)

Today commemorates the abolishment of slavery in 1865 and recognizes past, present and future work to secure and protect freedom, justice, equality and respect for all people. It is also the first day of Black History Month.

Pray for strength, humility and penitent hearts so we may acknowledge our nation’s history and the mistreatment of people based on ancestry,
race, religion and perceived differences.

Give thanks that our sins and weaknesses are met with God’s immense grace and the Spirit’s ability to effect change and newness in us, our church and society.

A Message from Pr. Mo...

Dearest Beloveds,

Happy New Year 2026! My prayer is that this message finds you healthy in mind, body, spirit, and community.

As a child, I marveled—and still do!—at the mystery that is The New Year. Everything feels fresh and bright! Meanwhile, all around us… whether it be social media, podcasts, tv talking heads, etc.… it seems the same… reflections about what “was” while speculating what “will be” without a focus on new creation.

I believe this turning of the wheel of time, this calendar event, transforms itself into a liminal space, which means it truly is a q***r space, an “in between” space. This moment of raw newness becomes one holding vast possibilities manifesting the liminality of it all… the q***rness of it all.

That is what makes this time full of hope, and my hope is that you will embrace it, my beloveds. Happy New Year and may it be a year full of possibilities for you!
