Please keep me anonymous.

I recently found out something that has completely broken me. My immediate younger brother r***d my wife after we had already been married for years and had two children together.

When I confronted him, he admitted that it happened, but all he could say was that it was “the devil’s work.” I honestly don’t know what to make of that. How can someone do something so terrible and then blame it on the devil?

Since discovering the truth, I have been struggling emotionally. I feel betrayed by my own brother and devastated by everything that has happened. The pain is overwhelming.

I know my wife was a victim, and I don’t blame her for what happened. However, whenever I look at her, I am reminded of the betrayal, the trauma, and the damage this has caused to our family. I hate feeling this way because she did nothing wrong, but I can’t seem to control my emotions.

Our marriage has been affected badly. I can barely look her in the eyes, and the thought of being intimate with her again is something I am finding very difficult to process.

I am hurt, confused, angry, and emotionally exhausted. I love my wife, but I don’t know how to move forward after something this devastating.

Has anyone ever gone through anything similar? How do I begin to heal and save my marriage while dealing with the betrayal of my own brother?

What advice would you give him, Famz?
