Reusing the coco coir mix for a rotting cactus🌵

The individual succulent leaf & dragon fruit cactus propagations we’re ready to be reported in their own Pots. 🪴

This particular cactus was rotting at its roots, I sliced the bottom, let it callous over 2 days. Hopefully it revives 😅

Why do I do it? It’s natural, cheaper, and it’s way better for your body. Look at the ingredients in your store bought skin products & can tell me you know what those ingredients are 🤔

Not all are bad, but I think we should start learning about what we’re putting on our bodies, as well as inside of bodies. Having issues with our skin also comes from a lack of sleep, not enough exercise, not of nourishing good, our moon-cycles, hormonal changes, stress and I can continue on the list ~ point is. Take care of yourself internally and externally ~ mind body relationship is real.

Drying out Succulent Cuttings for propagation☀️

Did you know you’re supposed to let your succulent cuttings callus (basically form a scab around on the cut area), before propagating?

If not, we’ll know ya know. lol maybe you’ve encountered dying leaves when trying to propagate it straight from the cutting.

it should take between maybe 3-4 days to Callus before you can put it in water / dirt or water growing medium you choose. It helps prevent it from rotting when transferred into a growing medium.

Here are a couple pink succulent leaves I’m sun drying at the moment ~ plus a baby dragon fruit cactus 🌵
