(No online sessions) I remember the frustration even at a young age of being sidelined from doing what I loved. My Mom also had Post Polio Syndrome, so I got to witness first hand the impact of poor health management on an entire family when

outcomes and education are not optimal for the client. I realized my Mom had to try and figure out how to maintain her fitness on her own, as well as juggling the fear of possibly injuring her susceptible joints. While she has found ways to keep kayaking, biking, and walking to keep healthy, she could've done it with much less fear if she had a guide. Right out of High School I knew I wanted to be a Physical Therapist, but I've always had a love for the weight room and the spirit for increasing performance without the nagging injuries that prevent you from being consistent with your workouts. I completed my Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy at Husson University. I then moved to Greenfield, MA where I had the opportunity to complete a 1 year residency in Physical Therapy Orthopedics at Baystate Franklin Medical Center and Springfield College. After that we moved to Boston and attended a 2 year fellowship in complex spine conditions at the Institute of Orthopeadic Manual Therapy in Woburn, MA with a focus on patient communication and hands on treatments. I also received my certificate as a strength and conditioning specialist while in Boston. I had to opportunity to work the MIT men's basketball team, local Gaelic football teams, athletes from surrounding colleges in Boston, and members of the Celtics dance team. Maybe you're working out for yourself, or maybe you're doing it for your family, but I am so excited and proud to be a part of your health and wellness journey! Credentials:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy
- Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist through the APTA
- CSCS through the NSCA
- Orthopedic Manual Therapist through the Institute of Orthopeadic Manual Therapy

Just over a year ago, this runner was facing something he'd never faced before.

Uncertainty.

He'd been running for decades.

Marathons. 15Ks. Weekend runs with friends.

Running wasn't just exercise.

It was his community.

His routine. His stress relief. Part of who he was.

Then the groin pain started.

Every run ended the same way.

Around 4 miles, the pain would force him to stop. And the next few days would be spent recovering.

The hardest part wasn't the pain.

It was the questions that started creeping in.

"Did I make this worse by trying to run?"

"Why isn't this healing?"

"What if I have to cancel another race?"

For someone who had always bounced back from injuries, this was new territory.

He felt like he was doing everything right.

Stretching. Physical therapy. Resting.

Yet nothing seemed to change.

Meanwhile, his running group kept meeting.

Races kept happening.

Life kept moving.

And he was watching from the sidelines.

Some runners tell themselves they'll just wait it out.

Another month. Another season. Another race registration.

Until one day they realize they haven't been living the life they love.

Fast forward one year.

We received this message.

What makes this story special isn't the podium.

It's that he got his life back.

The runs with friends. The races on the calendar.

The confidence to trust his body again.

At Premier Rehab and Training, we help runners find the root cause of what's keeping them stuck so they can get back to doing what they love.

If you're wondering whether you'll ever get back to running the way you used to...

DM us "RUN".

Your hips aren't tight because they need more stretching.

Our hikers tell us the most frustrating part isn't the tight hips.

It's stopping every 15 minutes to stretch while everyone else keeps moving.

It's spending the entire hike thinking about your body instead of enjoying the trail.

It's wondering why something that used to help you decompress now feels like a chore.

Most active adults have already tried stretching.

Foam rolling.
Massage guns.
Mobility routines.

Maybe they help for a little while.

Then the tightness comes right back.

That's because tightness is often your body's way of protecting you from a bigger movement problem.

Until you understand why your hips keep tightening up, you'll keep chasing temporary relief.

At Premier Rehab and Training, we help hikers uncover the root cause of why their body keeps compensating so they can get back to enjoying the outdoors without constantly stopping to manage their symptoms.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "I'm almost at the end of my 15 sessions. My biggest take away is how I'm finally able to repair myself given the techniques and exercises they provide for you personally. This program is only as valuable as the time and effort you're willing to put in. I cannot speak highly enough of their approach to physical therapy. It's unorthodox from what we've been told was the "right" way for so long. However the difference is... This works!!"

Most active adults don't stop doing the things they love because they WANT to.

They stop because they stop trusting their body.

At first it's subtle.

You skip the long hike.

You think twice before picking up your kid.

You pass on the road trip.

You avoid certain movements at the gym.

Not because you can't do them.

Because you're worried about what happens afterward.

The frustrating part is that many people assume this is just part of getting older.

But that's not what we see.

Many of the people we work with have already tried stretching, chiropractic care, massage, or traditional PT. They're active, motivated, and doing everything they know to do.

What they're missing isn't effort.

It's understanding WHY their pain keeps coming back.

When you finally identify the root cause, you stop organizing your life around avoiding flare-ups and start getting back to the things that make you feel like yourself again.

If you're tired of planning your life around pain, DM us "ACTIVE".

Let's see if there's a better path forward.

The biggest mistake we see with back pain?

Getting the same exercises as everyone else.

Back pain at Week 1 shouldn't be treated the same as back pain at Week 8 or Week 15.

That's why our patients aren't handed a generic sheet of exercises and sent to the corner.

As your body changes, your plan should change too.

We work 1-on-1 to understand your goals, uncover why your pain keeps coming back, and build a plan that progresses with you every step of the way.

Because lasting results happen when stop treating the symptoms and you address the root cause.

If you're tired of chasing temporary relief and want to find out what's really driving your back pain, click the link in our bio to schedule a free Discovery Visit.

We'll help you determine if we're the right fit to help you get back to doing what you love.

If you're getting knee pain every time you hike...

Stretching your knee probably isn't the answer.

Our patients tell us the most frustrating part isn't the pain itself.

It's watching their hiking partner get further and further ahead.

It's spending more time thinking about their knee than enjoying the view.

It's wondering if the trails they love are slowly becoming something they used to do.

Most hikers focus on the knee.

Rest it.
Stretch it.
Strengthen it.

But if the pain keeps coming back, there's usually a bigger movement problem underneath.

That's why we look at how your ankles, hips, ribs, and the rest of your body work together.

Because your knee doesn't hike alone.

When we uncover the reason your knee keeps getting overloaded, we can start addressing the root cause.

Follow Premier Rehab and Training for more tips to help you stay active, confident, and out on the trails you love.

✨ Patient of the Week ✨

What started as neck and shoulder pain after a deadlift turned into weeks of symptoms that just wouldn't go away.

The pain affected daily activities, concentration, and the outdoor lifestyle that was important to them.

Even in their 60s, staying active, hunting, and fishing weren't hobbies — they were part of who they were.

After working with Premier Rehab and Training, they're back driving long distances, turkey hunting, and fishing without pain.

What changed wasn't avoiding activity.

It was understanding what their body actually needed to move well again.

Stories like this are why we do what we do.

If the front of your shoulder hurts every time you reach overhead, press, or reach behind your back…

Stretching it more usually isn’t the answer.

A lot of shoulder pain actually comes from the rib cage not moving well underneath the shoulder.

When the ribs can’t change shape the way they’re supposed to,

The shoulder starts feeling tight, vulnerable, and painful during workouts and everyday movements.

This is one of the first exercises we commonly start our patients with to help get the ribs more mobile.

Because the goal isn’t temporary relief.

It’s helping your body move better so the pain stops coming back.

Follow us for more shoulder pain tips.

Most knee pain rehab focuses on the area that hurts. We find and focus on the WHY you have knee pain in the first place.

Often times, it's not because of a knee problem.

These are 5 exercises we’re using with a knee pain patient in the clinic to help restore movement, reduce compensation, and get to the root cause.

Because temporary relief isn’t the goal. Long-term confidence is.

DM us the word "KNEE” if you’re tired of the same cycle of pain.

Our patients tell us sciatica isn't just the pain shooting down their leg.

It's the moment they realize they're turning around halfway through a hike they used to finish with ease.

It's watching friends keep going while they stay behind.

It's wondering if this is the beginning of becoming the person who slowly stops doing the things they love.

One patient told us:

"I don't want to become my parents. I watched them stop moving in their 50s and never start again. I refuse to follow that road."

That's what makes sciatica so frustrating.

You rest. You stretch. You get massages.

You try PT. You see the chiropractor.

Yet somehow the pain keeps showing up every time you try to get back to hiking.

Because the problem isn't always where the pain is showing up.

At Premier Rehab and Training, our patients tell us the biggest difference is that we keep digging until we uncover why the pain keeps coming back in the first place.

We look beyond the symptoms. We look for what's been missed.

And this is what we call the root cause.

If you know someone whose sciatica pain is keeping them off the trails, share this with them.

They deserve answers beyond temporary relief.
