A balance board is one of the sensory tools we use in pediatric occupational therapy to work on whole body sensory motor skills.
As a child shifts their weight to stay balanced, they are getting vestibular and proprioceptive input while working on postural control, body awareness, coordination, and balance.
Sometimes we keep it simple and just stand. Other times we add reaching, catching, or another activity to make the body and brain work together.

When someone leaves us a 5-star review and suddenly I have enough dopamine to finish the week. šŸ˜‚āļø Seriously though, every kind word means more than you know. So grateful for the families who trust our little OT clinic. šŸ’™

Sometimes growth begins when we let go, continue with our faith walk, trust the spirit, and allow possibility to carry us somewhere new. What starts as one small idea can become an entire field of opportunity. Imagine it first, then give it room to grow.

Most meaningful things begin small—an idea, a conversation, a choice, a first step. You may not see the forest yet, but that doesn’t mean the seed isn’t already carrying the possibility.

Plant the idea. Give it time. Let it grow.

It's easy to lose sight of what's possible.
But one thought. One moment of awareness. One shift toward gratitude can change how we approach what comes next. It's a we must continue to practice: One positive thought. One shift in perspective. One opportunity to see possibility where we once saw limitations.
Our brains can adapt through experience and repetition. Perhaps manifestation begins not with controlling the world around us, but with becoming intentional about the thoughts we nurture and the actions we take.
We cannot always control what enters our minds. But we can practice choosing what we give our attention to.
