🚨 Medicare Enrollment Update - Please Share With Your Fellow Revenue Cycle Experts ❤️

CMS has revised Form CMS-855B for clinics, group practices, and other suppliers.

Notable changes include:
✅ Telehealth added as a practice location type
✅ New options to establish, terminate, or modify reassignments
✅ New enrollment reason for orgs participating in Medicaid
✅ Removal of the PA employer relationship section

The revised form becomes required on August 3, 2026.

CMS also reminds providers that enrollment updates can often be completed more quickly through PECOS:

Echo Billing Solutions is always looking for a critical thinker and seasoned biller to join our close-knit team in the Chicagoland area as an experienced medical biller specializing in mental health billing. We have rock-star clients & are more than "just the biller." We support the entire RCM process by helping our offices with appropriate billing, patient issues, as well as guidance with commercial/government policies and guidelines.

This is a remote position, but candidates must have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in medical or behavioral health billing.
• Strong understanding of the full RCM cycle (from claim submission through payment & follow-up).
• Knowledge of telehealth billing rules & payer nuances
• Familiarity with the regulatory landscape in mental health or willingness to learn.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in what we like to call an “organized chaos” environment.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently.

Position details:
• Part-time or Full-time (preferred)
• Remote (U.S-based, Chicagoland area preferred, but will consider IA, IN, NE, TN, KY & FL) ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT CONSIDER NON-U.S. BASED applicants.
