I don’t think I’ve ever been described as “cool” in my whole life, but here at Muddy Paws we are super cool. We had a mohawk and a mullet this morning. What’s cooler than that? Thanks, Finn and Walter for making me cool by association. 😜❤️

After months of collecting photos and planning, the big day has finally arrived. Thank you so much to all of you that participated and shared photos of their beloved pets. There are 92 gracing tomorrow's float. I am honored to showcase your beautiful furry and scaley friends. After tomorrow's parade, I will be taking the photos off of the float and I will bring them downtown to Main Street. If you shared a photo, you can pick them up at that time and take them home as a keepsake.

Thank you so much to Josh Hofschulte at Northern Exposure Design for all of his amazing work on this project. Josh designed and laser printed all of the frames as well as printed all of the photos. We are so grateful to have him as part of our community!

Meet my friend Dakota, the sweet Springer Spaniel with sass.

Is that Rosie the Riveter? Nope, it's Rosie the Poodle and she is all ready to rock on July 4th!

As the 250th birthday of America grows closer, I am going to try to share some history of our nation paired with a pup who received a spa treatment. First up is sweet Rosie!

Only one week left. Please submit your photos this week.

For this years’s Fourth of July float, Muddy Paws would like to honor those four-legged friends that have crossed the rainbow bridge. I would like to collect photos of your pets that are no longer with you and create a memorial float. These photos do not just need to be cats and dogs. All kinds of pets have touched our hearts- horses, rabbits, hamsters, chickens...if you loved them like family, we want to remember them. If you would like to have your pet featured on the float, please send me a photo with their name. Submissions can be sent via text at 218-240-0759, through Messenger, through email at [email protected] or by dropping off a hard copy at the shop at 960 County Road 1 SW. You do not need to be from Lake of the Woods County or a customer to participate. Submission deadline will be June 15, 2026.
