Misconception #2: If I ignore anger, it disappears.
Today I’d like to continue to talk about, “when love isn’t what it seems, then what anger is trying to tell us?
Many of us were taught to push anger away.
Stay busy.
Move on.
Don’t think about it.
And sometimes that works for a moment.
But ignored anger doesn’t always disappear.
Sometimes it returns as:
resentment,
irritability,
emotional distance,
or exhaustion.
Like an unseen current beneath the surface, emotions often continue moving long after we’ve stopped looking at them.
Perhaps understanding anger begins not by suppressing it, but by listening to what it is trying to tell us.
