""In litigation, a vocational evaluation is only as strong as the labor market data behind it. Transferable skills matter, but if your expert can't demonstrate where those jobs exist, what they pay, and who's hiring, the analysis won't survive cross-examination.""

With over 30 years of experience and credentials recognized in both State and Federal courts, Kerry's evaluations are built to hold up where it matters most.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

In medico-legal and catastrophic injury cases, mental health is a critical component of long-term outcomes not a secondary consideration.

Chronic pain, traumatic injury, prolonged recovery, and disability frequently intersect with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and cognitive challenges that can directly influence prognosis, treatment participation, functional capacity, and future care needs.

At MLCC, our life care planning and medico-legal experts take a whole-person approach to evaluating recovery and future needs, recognizing that psychological and emotional health are essential elements of comprehensive, defensible care planning.

Most concussion claims don’t break down on causation.
They break down on what wasn’t measured.

A client presents with ongoing impairment, but imaging is normal and vision is documented as 20/20. From a medico-legal standpoint, that gap can weaken both damages and credibility.

What’s often missing is functional vision assessment.

Post-concussion visual dysfunction affects how the brain processes visual input, not just what the eye can see. Without the right testing, real limitations can go unrecognized and undocumented.

In medico-legal cases, that means:

β€’ Incomplete impairment picture
β€’ Underestimated damages
β€’ Missed opportunities for defensible care recommendations

If the findings don’t match the presentation, vision may be the missing piece.
