David, Darryl, and Dayna have sad news to share that our father, Charles Wells, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday at his home. He was 86 years old. Our friends in Bellbrook, Ohio, know him from his career at Wells Pharmacy (1965-1998), which he began with our mother Caroline, also a pharmacist. He contributed to the growing community in Bellbrook during his children's formative years. Almost every high school classmate had visited the pharmacy at some time to get candy or bubble gum, baseball cards, or soda, and several friends worked there after school. As our Aunt Carolou posted, it is hard to believe that someone who has been a part of our lives from our very beginnings is no longer with us. Our hearts are heavy with loss right now. We take comfort in knowing that he is reunited with loved ones who preceded him: wife Caroline, his oldest daughter Donna and her daughter Cassie Jo, his parents Joseph and Nora, siblings Max, Lucille, Carl, and Roger, plus too many friends to mention by name.
