WAIT...YOU LOVE JESUS, BUT YOU DO SOUND HEALING?
AND DO!
And there is NO contradiction.
Lissennn, I love Jesus with my whole heart. I also believe God created a world that we are STILL discovering.
Sound. Vibrations. Frequencies. Energy.
None of that is new. What's new is our understanding of how to use it.
Now, let me ask you something.
When you take medicine, does that mean you've stopped trusting God to heal?
When you go to counseling, does that mean you've stopped believing God can give you peace?
Of course not.
So why is it so difficult to believe that sound can be a tool for rest without becoming an object of worship?
Here's where I stand.
I am a follower of Christ. I believe in the power of prayer. And I believe God gave us wisdom, curiosity, and the ability to discover things that can support our well-being.
But I also believe in DISCERNMENT.
Everything labeled "healing" isn't something I automatically embrace. And just because I use sound healing doesn't mean I subscribe to every spiritual belief associated with it.
When folks come into a session with me, I'm not asking them to believe what I believe.
I'm inviting them to REST.
To quiet the noise.
To release the pressure to perform.
To give their minds and bodies permission to be still.
And if that rest helps us show up with a little more patience, compassion, and love, isn't that worth making space for?
You don't have to agree with my practice to respect my faith. And I don't have to question yours because you see things differently.
I don't worship the instruments. I worship the Creator of them all!
The bowls are tools.
The sound is an experience.
The rest is intentional.
God is the Healer.
I am His chosen vessel.
And that distinction has never been confusing to me.
My faith is not in the frequency. My faith is in the One who created a world where sound exists.
YES GOD!! 🙌🏾
