Sol Life is proud to bring you fresh picked garden vegetables from an organic local farmer. 5S Farms is less than 5 miles from our store in Belton. Everything grown on this Farm uses Nature and not fertilizers or pesticides. Only water dirt and sunshine. ☀️
5SFarm’s honey is incredible! The beehives set in the middle of 10 acres and have access to fruit trees, vegetable gardens, and wildflowers. 🐝

Patchouli essential oil does help protect against mosquitoes. Recent scientific research has shown it can be highly effective. A landmark study published in the Journal ACS Omega by the American chemical Society demonstrated that a laboratory formulated patchouli oil mix, provided 100% protection against mosquitoes for up to three hours. It performed just as well as the commercial product DEET. It masks the human scent and is rich in active compounds.

In May and June, the Cultural Activities Center’s theme is Art is Everywhere: Healing. Join us for a “Wooosssahhh Wednesday” Lunch and Learn: The Healing Art of Resonance & Breath.

When we slow down and allow ourselves to be in the present moment. Only connected to our body and breath, the nervous system can reset. Cortisol drops, Shallow breathing gives way to Deep cleansing breaths. From this place of peace, creativity,and inspiration have room to expand. This guided session will be a mini retreat. Light breathwork and mediation accompanied by frequency music. with a light lunch

Yoga in Nature. Sol Life is honored to be partnering with Shannon of Firefly Yoga. Shannon combines restorative mediation with gentle grounding body movements. no experience needed. Saturday May 23rd-begins at 8:30am. Please bring a mat and blanket (recommended). . Dress accordingly to weather. At 9:45am- Ceremonial Tea will be served following the Yoga experience. Known for its analgesic properties, the plant has been used for teas to treat stomach aches, headaches, and fevers, and in washes for poison ivy and snakebites. The roots have also been used for sleep-inducing properties.
