✨ TRANSFORMATION STORY TUESDAY ✨
Today we’re hearing Krissy & Melissa’s story from GA! ➡️
Four years ago, we both walked into Burn Boot Camp looking for something different. What we found was so much more than a workout.
For Melissa, it was a chance to stop chasing diets and quick fixes and start focusing on health, strength, and feeling better. Over the past four years, I have significantly reduced medication and become stronger and healthier than I ever imagined.
For Krissy, the biggest challenge has always been consistency. As a full-time working mom of three kids with busy sports schedules, the gym was often the first thing to fall off my list.
But having each other at Burn changed everything.
This year, we made a promise to hold each other accountable- not just for a few weeks or months, but for the entire year. There are plenty of mornings when neither of us wants to get out of bed, but knowing the other one is waiting makes us show up.
Sometimes we simply show up because we know the other one needs us to.
And that’s what our transformation has really been about. It’s not just about how our bodies have changed. It’s about changing the way we think about health and making ourselves a priority in the middle of busy lives, work, kids, sports, and everything else.
Burn has become our place to step away from the chaos, focus on ourselves, and get stronger - physically and mentally.
I (Melissa) am lifting weights I never thought I could because my sister, the Burn trainers, and the community believe in me. I (Krissy) have learned that consistency doesn’t mean being perfect; sometimes it simply means showing up.
We’re both busy moms with full-time jobs and families who depend on us, but our families are better off because we made the decision to take care of ourselves, too. Four years later, we’ve learned that transformation isn’t about perfection or a number on a scale. It’s about showing up, staying committed, and having someone beside you who won’t let you quit.
