Michal Cohen has worked as a celebrity makeup artist in Los Angeles for over ten years and is sought out for her keen sense of aesthetics and meticulous technique. At the age of 16 Michal discovered her talent in makeup while participating in her high school's performing dance team. She then began working behind some of the most prestigious beauty and fragrance brands in the world which only motiv
ated her fascination further. After encouragement from a fellow alumnus at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology, Michal finally began freelancing as a makeup artist and went on to discover her true joy and fascination with the art of makeup. She started assisting some of the biggest names in the industry such as Pati Dubroff, Christy Coleman and Lisa Storey where Michal began to develop a careful eye for detail in beauty as well as support to explore her talent. She also travels to New York Fashion week to work along side Tom Pecheux, Lisa Butler and Lucia Pieroni for such brands as Ralph Lauren, Derek Lam and Vera Wang, season after season. Today Michal works frequently with photographers Kathryna Hancock, Tanya Kechichian and Martin Rusch where she is continuously requested for her skill and practice of developing a face in a variety of settings and light. Michal resides in Los Angeles with her husband and their ridiculous dog.
