✔️Week 1 of Kid One’s Summer 2026 Fill-A-Tank Fundraiser! Fill-A-Tank helps fuel our 14 vehicles across Alabama to transport children and expectant mothers to crucial healthcare appointments.
Brittany Harris is one of the expectant mothers we serve. Brittany is 30 weeks pregnant with her first child, a precious baby boy. With a broken car, she had been taking expensive Uber rides, costing her $30-40 for a trip to her OB/GYN. With biweekly appointments and a recent move across town from her doctor’s office, these trips would only become more expensive. Thankfully, her OB/GYN clinic informed her of Kid One’s services, and she has been using us ever since.
“Before Kid One, I was spending 30 to 40 dollars, there and back, on Uber rides to the doctor. Using Kid One is convenient and it saves money,” Brittany says of our services.
With Kid One, Brittany’s prenatal visits aren’t burdened by worry about transportation costs. Instead, she can think about what matters: her baby’s development, prenatal care instructions, and of course, receiving sonograms she couldn’t help but proudly show us on the ride to her OB/GYN.
