Raising a child is every parent’s most precious task, yet they are often left to do it alone. Every day, Kid One sees the extraordinary lengths parents take to keep their children healthy and happy. We are proud to make those lengths less extraordinary by supporting Alabama parents who lack a way to get their child to the doctor.

A father needs to take his child to dialysis appointments. Or a mother requires weekly OB/GYN visits to track her baby’s development. Every healthcare plan must include a consistent, reliable transportation source. Kid One is that source for thousands of Alabama parents.

We’re launching our Summer 2026 Fill-A-Tank Fundraiser!

Every year thousands of Alabama children miss life-saving medical appointments because they lack a way to get there. Our mission is to make sure a child’s health is never determined by their access to a car. Across 35+ Alabama counties, Kid One Transport drives children and expectant mothers to crucial healthcare appointments.

In 2025 Kid One: Traveled 433,648 Miles, Provided 15,841 Rides, and Served 1,984 Families. But there are still so many families that need our help, and we can’t do it without you. With rising gas prices and insurance costs, your support is more important than ever.
