As an English teacher, I know writing builds more than grades, it builds confidence, critical thinking, and voice. That is why TyTalks is excited to support the Martin Luther King Jr. Essay Contest for students ages 10 to 18.

This contest invites students to reflect on Dr. King’s legacy, connect it to today’s world, and express their thoughts through meaningful writing. Younger students will explore what “I Have a Dream” means to them today, while older students will examine what it looks like to live with strength of character in real life. 🖊️✨

March 2023 (almost at my heaviest)
vs.
August 2024 (my old HS weight, redistributed 😂)

I became very digusted on my fitness journey because it seemed like no matter what I tried to cut back or eat, the weight wouldn’t budge.

In July 2024 I challenged myself to increase my workout days be adding 2-3 additional days + juicing & taking vitamins. I also cut out alcohol & sweets (minus a few slip ups) and that plateau finally broke and the scale started showing proof of my efforts & hard work.

I’ve reached my goal weight but there’s still A LOT of work to be done to achieve the LOOK that I desire.

Next week I will continue juicing and begin meal prepping in a way that still allows me to eat fun foods and not restrict myself so much so I don’t feel guilty when I indulge in a good meal with friends or a couple drinks at happy hour after a long day.

GRATEFUL! 🥰

I had a 42 bottle goal for my Juice Flash Sale and you guys showed out. I didn’t even get the juice into as many hands and I wanted because those that purchased were ordering as many as 8️⃣ bottles in a single order.

I’m still undecided on whether I will take one such a labor of love like this again but be on the lookout just in case 😉 who knows what I might come up with for the seasonal fall fruits.
