Gentle Words for Heavy Hearts
Lately, many of you may have noticed that I haven’t been on Facebook very much. The truth is, my heart has been carrying more than I know how to put into words.
Between helping my family with our businesses, working to build my own, and trying to be there for the people I love, life has been incredibly busy. But more than being busy, my heart has simply been heavy.
There is so much pain in this world right now. So much loss. So much heartbreak. Families grieving loved ones. People battling illnesses. Parents worrying about their children. Financial struggles. Broken relationships. Anxiety. Loneliness. Fear. Uncertainty. It feels like every day brings another story that breaks my heart.
I’ve always been someone who feels deeply. When others hurt, I hurt. I carry the weight of people I know and even people I’ve never met. Sometimes it becomes so overwhelming that I quietly step away, not because I don’t care, but because I care so much.
If you’ve been grieving, I pray you find moments of peace even in the middle of your tears.
If you’re fighting an illness, I pray your body finds strength, your spirit finds courage, and your heart never loses hope.
If you’re carrying burdens no one else can see, I pray you remember that you don’t have to carry them alone.
If you’re struggling financially or wondering how you’re going to make it through another week, I pray doors begin to open and that you experience God’s provision in ways you never expected.
If you feel forgotten, unseen, or like no one understands your pain, please know this—you matter. Your life has purpose. Your story is not over.
Please know that my silence is never because I don’t care. It’s actually because I care so much.
Even when I’m not posting, I’m praying. I pray for my family, my friends, those who have reached out to me, and even complete strangers whose stories cross my path. I ask God to bring comfort to the grieving, healing to the sick, strength to the weary, peace to the anxious, and hope to those who feel like they’ve lost it.
The world needs more kindness, more grace, more compassion, and more prayer. We never truly know what someone else is carrying. A smile, a kind word, a phone call, or a simple prayer can make a bigger difference than we may ever know.
If you’re reading this today, I hope you’ll hold on just a little longer. One difficult chapter does not define your entire story. Healing doesn’t always happen overnight, and sometimes strength simply means taking the next step. It’s okay to rest. It’s okay to ask for help. It’s okay to cry. None of those things make you weak—they make you human.
Thank you to everyone who has continued to support me, encourage me, and show me grace during this season. I’m taking life one day at a time, trusting God to carry what I cannot, and believing He is still at work even in the hardest moments.
If you’re struggling today, please know that you are not alone. You may not even realize it, but someone is praying for you… and often, that someone is me.
Let’s continue to love one another a little deeper, be a little gentler, and remind each other that even in the darkest seasons, there is still hope.
With love,
Angela đź’™
Until next time… may you find hope for today, strength for tomorrow, and healing for your heart.
