Executive Childcare Consultants have been working with a group of youth at Green Acres Middle School. They are creating Kindness Care Kits for the homeless. Thanks to Karma for Cara who funded this initiative, we were able to order supplies to create 150 kits.; which was received today.
As I watch the children plan and create personal notes, I notice a sense of satisfaction in them all...knowing that they are making a difference in someone who needs it life. Even if it is just for a little while.

What Children Learn From Preschool Songs (It’s More Than Just Fun!)

Preschoolers singing the same song repeatedly is a joy to watch. Their hand motions and big smiles showcase music's power. Preschool songs may sound simple, but they play a huge role in early childhood learning and development. As a literacy coach and early childhood administrator, I can share that I haven't observed many teachers singing and dancing with their students. I believe that there are so many missed learning opportunities when we deny our little ones that fun and engaging singing activities....
