FAREWELL, BLUE SPRINGS! After 3 1/2 years manufacturing Fattyhead there (and almost 8 years total in biz!), wholesaling to 85 grocery stores and perhaps 75 restaurants, and culminating in the brief dalliance with a retail store, TODAY IS MY LAST SATURDAY selling Fattyhead from that location. It is not what I planned, as I had made a commitment for 3 years despite wanting to slow down as I near 6 decades on this planet, but you all know by now how I can juke and move and pivot and rise!

What a thrill it was to finally see you all face to face, to have heartfelt conversations, to share hugs as well as challenges and above all...TRIUMPHS! And I will forever be honored that other small, talented vendors were open to working with me so the store could be a community supported endeavor. Collaboration has ALWAYS been my favorite part of this gig, sharing ideas and experiences, making plans, wondering WHAT IF, and high-fiving when a colleague meets a breath-stealing challenge with grit and integrity!

"What now, Fattyhead lady?" I am SO glad you asked! I will continue shipping baked FH to 48 states (visit Fattyhead Dot Kitchen), and Market Wagon Greater KC & Wichita is now my store! This wonderful delivery service reaches all the way up to St Joe, west to Topeka, south to Harrisonville, and way east to where the sun rises on each beautiful, promising day! I have a new commercial landing spot secured and will share that amazing story very soon. As many challenges as we all endure in this thing called life, it's The Overcoming and Carrying On that build a rich and rewarding journey. Cheers, my friends!

Just when I thought I’d settled into my final fatty chapter before retirement in 3 years, someone else had different ideas. But I have The Best News coming in maybe 2-3 weeks! My resilience is as strong as ever, my conscience is clear, and my heart is full.

Look at that beautiful, caramelized bagel bite bottom!! You Market Wagon Greater KC & Wichita people might have sent me into a mad scramble today after selling out of these with a quickness.

I was so flummoxed that I weighed half of these all wrong, but the package goes by total weight and are hand rolled, so there is variation from bagel bite to bagel bite, dontcha know?!
