We need to change this narrative.

If we are discussing the Maternal health disparity and the response is "what about their preexisting conditions" ...then you're not looking at the complexity of the issue. Maternal health disparity is seen across all socioeconomic status.

The conversation should not be limited to what can Black women do differently but what systems and policy can be put in place to minimize the current outcome.
