I Just Shared My Story on My Favorite Podcast 🎙️💪
Today, I opened up like never before…
I shared my real, raw, and very personal journey through weight loss—and more importantly—how I kept it off.
This isn’t just about before and after photos.
This is about who I became in the process.
The internal battles.
The mindset shifts.
The discipline.
The days I wanted to quit… but didn’t.
Here’s a truth that most people don’t know:
👉 According to long-term studies, only about 20% of individuals who lose a significant amount of weight (without surgery) are able to maintain that weight loss long-term.
That means 4 out of 5 people gain it all back—or more.
Not because they’re lazy… but because the mental, emotional, and lifestyle changes required are HARD. Really hard.
But I’m proud to say I’m in that 20%. 🙏
And I didn’t get here alone. It took prayer, community, accountability, and a decision to show up every day even when it wasn’t pretty.
If you’re struggling, just know this:
📌 You’re not too far gone.
📌 You don’t need to be perfect.
📌 You just need to start… and keep showing up.
I’m not sharing this to say, “Look at me.”
I’m sharing it to say—If I can do it, you can too. 💯
