The minute I woke up, I felt it.
Cortisol already high.
Stomach in knots.
Mind racing through everything before my feet even hit the floor.
This is the part no one talks about—
you can be doing “all the right things” and still wake up dysregulated.
But here’s what I’ve learned 👇🏼
Your body doesn’t need punishment… it needs support.
In my follicular phase, I lean with my physiology instead of against it.
Today that looked like low-intensity movement + heat + breath.
Hot yoga.
Slow, intentional.
Reconnecting my mind and body.
And within minutes—
my nervous system softened
my breath deepened
and that cortisol spike started to come down.
This is hormone intelligence.
Not pushing harder… but choosing smarter.
