I’m excited to share a personal side of my family history with our community.
Join me tomorrow for a special Community Lecture: “Missouri Memories: Life in the Depression Era” — Two Children, Two Worlds (St. Louis & Howard County).
I’ll be sharing the stories my parents told me about growing up in the 1930s and ’40s — urban life in North St. Louis versus rural life in Howard County. It’s a relaxed, folksy talk full of resilience, resourcefulness, and Missouri grit.
This is not a medical lecture — just good old-fashioned storytelling. Come ready to listen and maybe share some of your own family memories!
