We're accepting nominations for the Astrid Joseph Community Volunteer Award to be presented at the 12th Annual Road to Wellness on September 12, 2026. 🏆

This award recognizes an outstanding volunteer whose commitment to health, wellness, equity, and community reflects the extraordinary legacy of Astrid St. Gerard Joseph.

Astrid was a beloved longtime Road to Wellness volunteer and community heroine known for her strength, kindness, and unwavering dedication to others. To many, she was known as a true “wonder woman.”
Created in her memory, this award honors a volunteer who embodies the same spirit of service, compassion, and care that defined her life.

We are calling on our community to nominate a community hero at the link in our bio by August 12.

Our 2026 Summer Training Series kicked off at Malcolm X Park in with incredible energy from start to finish. From warm-ups to cool downs, the Road to Wellness is officially underway. 💪

Big thanks to our team of expert coaches, our lead sponsor John Hancock, and Stop & Shop for keeping us fueled and moving. 🙌

📅 Couldn’t make it? We’ll be training together on Saturdays every weekend leading up to our 5K Run/2-Mile Walk on September 12! Our next training on Saturday, June 12, will be at Franklin Park Playstead. All paces and fitness levels are welcome, regardless of whether you’ve been to previous trainings.
