Healthy Places GSD explores issues at the intersection of health and the built environment to uncover the agency of planning and design practitioners to promote healthier communities. The student group takes an equity focused and cross disciplinary approach, bringing together students and faculty across campus with practitioners to raise the visibility of research, projects, and advocacy on health

and the built environment. Healthy Places GSD hosts various events throughout the year, including talks, workshops, field trips, and a monthly Healthy Places Happy Hour, where students are invited to share an ongoing project or research related to health and design.
