This image is of a tepee in my backyard years ago, and where the name of my business, Circle of Peace, originated from. It was a space dedicated to stillness, listening, and healing. Within those walls, I held Reiki sessions for humans and gatherings of womenās circles around the sacred fire, filled with the rhythm of drums and singing.āØš„
That tepee was a physical sanctuary, and what I eventually learnedāand what I now teach and practiceāis that we can carry that same stillness within us as we walk on our path of life with its ups and downs. This is the heart of what we explore in our Level 1 class.
The real shift after a Level 1 Animal Reiki class isn't just about what you "do" in an animal reiki session. Itās also the practice of carrying that 'circle of peace' within you wherever you go and in whatever you do. Itās about how you show up in daily life. And how you show up affects all beings on your path--animal and human.
Itās the calmness you exude while at the barn or the grocery store. Itās the quiet anchor you provide for your dog during a thunderstorm, or an injury or illness. Itās the subtle shift from "doing" things to or for your animals, to simply "being" with them. It's the practice of opening your heart to others. Listening and observing without judgment, and finding gratitude in the small stuff; the day-to-day goings on of life.
In four weeks, we gather at Rein in a Dream to learn these quiet, powerful foundations. Whether you are a shelter volunteer, a devoted animal guardian, or an animal professional, the Let Animals LeadĀ® method offers a steady practice for your well-being and the animals in your life.
My April 19 & 26 class currently has 4 spots remaining in our circle.
If you feel called to deepen your connection and find your own "circle of peace" alongside the animals, I would love to have you join us. šæ
