Part of what motivated me to start Truly Fueled Nutrition is that, as a student athlete, absolutely no one talked to me about the importance of nutrition for my sports performance. As a result, I dealt with low energy and unpredictable blood sugar swings during important games which sidelined me far more often than was normal for a healthy kid.
I love working with student athletes to help them learn to fuel their bodies for their unique sport and needs, and I feel strongly that the earlier an athlete can learn to meet their needs consistently, the more they'll get out of their training and sport long past their career as a student athlete.
In most cases, it's the most simple and basic things that will make the biggest difference for young athletes across all sports!
