Presence is not passive.
It is not showing up physically and calling it done. We have all been in a conversation where the other person's body was in the room but they were nowhere near us. Distracted, half-listening, somewhere else entirely. And we felt it. You always feel it.
That is what I wanted to open up in our Sanctuary session this week. Because presence is actually powerful and palpable. When someone is truly with you, fully in the same energy, in the same conversation, you feel that too, even with your eyes closed.
What I am really talking about here is a kind of spiritual maturity. And it is less about reaching for higher states or peak experiences, and more about being available to manage the states you are already in.
That distinction matters. So many of us are chasing something elevated when the real work is learning to be here, fully, in whatever is actually happening.
That is where the depth is. That is where the transformation is.
If this resonates, this is the kind of work we do every week inside Sanctuary. Link in bio.
