When most people think about bone health, they think about calcium. But strong bones require much more than a supplement.

Remember our protein conversation? Protein helps support both muscle and bone health, especially during perimenopause and menopause.

Healthy bones also benefit from:

- Regular strength training
- Walking and weight-bearing activity
- Good balance and coordination
- Proper nutrition
- Muscle strength

Your pelvic floor and core are part of this picture too. Strong muscles support posture, balance, movement, and confidence as we age. If you are navigating perimenopause or menopause and would like support creating a plan that works for your body, schedule a discovery call to learn more about coaching options. Healthy aging is about the whole picture.

We started our Let's Walk community in April, and many of you joined me.

If you missed it, it's not too late. You don't need fancy equipment. You don't need a perfect plan. You simply need to start.

Walking supports:
- Blood sugar balance
- Nervous system regulation
- Digestion
- Bone health
- Pelvic health
- Mood and stress relief

Invite a friend. Listen to your favorite playlist. Enjoy a quiet walk outside. Your goal can look different from someone else's. The important thing is to keep moving. Sometimes the simplest wellness tools are the most powerful.

Protein seems to be everywhere right now. But instead of debating trends, a better question might be: Are you getting enough for your body's needs?

Protein requirements vary based on:
- Age
- Activity level
- Hormonal changes
- Health conditions
- Personal goals

Protein does much more than support muscle growth. After 40, maintaining muscle becomes increasingly important for strength, balance, mobility, and independence. Your pelvic floor and core muscles need nourishment too.

A simple place to start? Try including a source of protein with every meal instead of saving most of it for dinner. Small changes add up over time.

June is Men's Health Month đź’™ A reminder that pelvic floor concerns are not just a women's health issue.

Many men quietly struggle with:
- Bladder leakage
- Urgency or frequency
- Constipation
- Pelvic pain
- Hip or back discomfort
- Recovery after prostate surgery

Many assume these changes are simply part of aging. They are common, but they are not something you have to accept without support. Pelvic floor physical therapy can help improve function, reduce discomfort, and support quality of life. Men's pelvic health matters too.

If you have questions, reach out. We're happy to help.
