Yesterday wasn’t perfect… and that’s okay.

I had a productive day, got things done, and then ended the night with some snacks and not the best sleep. Woke up feeling a little off this morning—one of those days where it would be easy to say “I’ll start over tomorrow.”
But today is Monday… and I’m choosing a reset, not a restart.

This morning looked like:
🥚 A simple, balanced breakfast
🚶‍♀️ A quick indoor walk (rainy day here!)
💧 Hydrating and getting back into a routine
Nothing extreme. Nothing complicated. Just small steps to feel better.

Because life isn’t about being perfect—it’s about adjusting, listening to your body, and continuing forward even after an off day.

If you needed this reminder today:
👉 You don’t have to start over
👉 You can just begin again, right where you are

Pizza for dramatic effect. I ate my breakfast too fast to take a photo 😝

Some days don’t start strong… and that’s okay 💛
This morning I woke up exhausted… cramps, headache, no motivation, and honestly just not feeling like myself.

But instead of pushing through or throwing in the towel, I slowed down and listened to what my body needed.

✔️ Extra rest
✔️ Water first
✔️ Simple food
✔️ One small step at a time

Nothing fancy. Nothing perfect.
And little by little… I kept going.

By the end of the day:
✨ 4 meals prepped
✨ Groceries done
✨ My girl ready for her sleepover
✨ And I still took care of myself along the way

This is what balance looks like for me.
Not all or nothing.
Not waiting to feel motivated.
Just showing up the best I can with what I have that day.
Because the truth is… consistency isn’t built on your best days.
It’s built on the days you don’t feel like it.

Be the best U—even on the hard days 🌿💛

Feeling Good & Staying Consistent 💪✨
Today was a productive day nutrition-wise and I got my workout in! 🙌
🥚 Breakfast: Two eggs with feta, tons of arugula, and lemon water first thing
☕️ Midday: Berberine + coffee
🥗 Lunch: Chicken salad on pumpernickel with arugula
🍦 Snack: Activia yogurt
🍔 Dinner: Turkey burger (no bun) with a Caesar salad
🌿 Evening: Blue light glasses on + spearmint tea to wind down
It’s not about perfection — it’s about showing up, making mindful choices, and taking care of your body one day at a time.

Back from vacay feeling fired up 💪 My Friday felt like a fresh Monday — dialed in my nutrition, caught up on podcasts to keep my mind buzzing, and stretched out from that paddle‑boarding adventure (hello neck & back yoga!). Thinking monthly resets might be the move 🙌 Now it’s time to hustle 💥

I know it looks like I’m always on the go—meal prep, workouts, business, kids’ activities…

But honestly? The real game changer for me has been learning to slow down.

Taking a breath in the morning. Sipping my coffee without multitasking. Getting clear on my goals before the chaos starts.

I used to be in constant hustle mode—and I was exhausted.

Now, I move with intention, not just momentum. And that’s made all the difference.

So here’s your gentle reminder today: pause, breathe, reset. You’ve got this.

Anyone else feel like a whole new person when the sun finally comes out?

Yesterday was one of those super productive days—crushed my workout by 9 AM, meal prepped while tuning into a nonprofit marketing event, knocked out my bookkeeping, and even made it to dance class! 💃🏼✨

But then… my crockpot exploded. 😅 A minor setback, but in the winter months, that probably would’ve ruined my day. Instead, I ran out, grabbed a new one (plus more food), and kept moving forward.

It’s wild how much the seasons affect our mood and motivation. Feeling that shift already and getting excited for more time in the garden and longer, brighter days ahead! 🌿☀️

Who else is feeling the energy shift with the sunshine?

Hey everyone, it's Lauren! This week, I had a bit of a wake-up call during my visit to the doctor. She mentioned that some of my anxiety could be coming from putting too much on my plate. Sound familiar to anyone else? Sometimes we try to do it all, and that weight can be overwhelming.

I've been learning to incorporate meditation into my routine, which, let me tell you, is no small feat! Sitting still and not thinking about anything? It feels like my mind is a pinball machine. But meditation is a practice, especially for those of us with anxiety. It’s not about stopping every thought; it’s about learning to let them pass without holding on to them. Slowly, I’m finding that it helps calm my mind, even if it’s just for a few minutes each day.

I've also started taking walks with music, which has been a game changer. Instead of letting my thoughts race, I just let the music take over and focus on the moment. It's become a little ritual to help me de-stress.

As we head into the weekend, remember: it can be a time to prepare for the week ahead, but it can also be a time to slow down and calm your mind. Do what feels right for you in the moment. Whether that’s meditation, a walk with some music, or simply sitting still, give yourself permission to breathe.

Take care of yourselves, and let’s refuel together!
