Since this is the last day of Scoliosis Awareness Month, I wanted to reveal that my daughter has mild scoliosis with a Cobb angle of 10 degrees. I also have mild scoliosis at a 15 degree Cobb angle. My daughter’s evaluation was today. I was in shock that Crystiana’s physical therapist was the same physical therapist that helped me with my leg that is affected by cerebral palsy. Her name is Michelle. I was just 9 or 10 years old when I started working with her. I was tearing up the entire time and she told me that she has pictures of all of her patients including myself and going to bring them the next time she sees Christy. It was just a joy seeing her again. 💚✨😘👑

I was discharged from the EMU on June 22nd. For the overnight stay, the staff kept me on my seizure medications: Briviact 100 mg tablets (twice a day), Onfi 10 mg and 20 mg tablets (15 mg in the morning and 20 mg at night), and Vimpat 150 mg tablets (twice a day). 💜✨💊👑

This is where the electrodes are attached to when I’m in the EMU. I’m also attached to a cord and only allowed to get up to use the bathroom and take sponge baths. Maybe walk to a chair and then sit down. It may sound scary but I am used to it since the age of nineteen. I just called it a me-cation. 💜✨🙏🏽👑

I was admitted into the Adult Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at 8:00 am this morning. 💜✨ Back on February 12th of this year, I had one of the seizures that I have when I am walking. I was staring without blinking, a rising sensation in my stomach, my heart was racing, I was nauseous, and racing thoughts plus more. I’m thankful that I didn’t smack into a wall. I called my nurse practitioner in the neurological institute and she felt like it was a seizure. Then, she put in the request to stay overnight for 24 hours in the EMU. Some people wonder wonder why I keep my phone on me. In case I have a seizure, I know how to time and take care of myself. This hospitalization is mainly about where the seizure focus is at in my brain. Wish me luck. 💜✨🫶🏽🙏🏽👑

By the way, the boomerang is of the camera that is watching me in case I have a seizure in the EMU ward.

My little twin is starting to wear glasses like her mommy. I told her there is nothing wrong with wearing glasses. I also said mommy has been wearing glasses since she was a toddler. Our reasons are different. She is nearsighted while when I first started wearing glasses was due to the misalignment in my right eye. My me**es were designed to straighten my eye. Nonetheless, I reassured her that she will adjust to wearing them just like I did. 😘💋✨🫶🏽👑
