Baby wearing is a learned thing. As with anything, please don’t expect to get it right on the first try. Take joy in the experience and keep going. Sometimes it will be a disaster, but those trial and errors help us to learn how to master it later and build confidence.

It is a total game changer and there are lots of studies sharing the many benefits of wearing your baby. Please feel free to DM me and i will share my resources.

This was the first time we practiced together and I’d say she did a pretty damn good job of navigating it; not with just one baby, but with two!

Postpartum can be a tough journey to navigate, but you are not alone. I love helping families find pockets of joy and laughter along with the hard parts. It’s ok to feel it all!

These past two days have been filled with helping families move through different phases in there journeys.

It feels non-stop and I’ve questioned , listened to, navigated the boundaries that i need to set for myself in order to sleep, eat, be at peace without thinking about the needs of other… but honestly, i can’t stop. I love education, i love learning and i love understanding that there is an infinite amount of knowledge out there. That there are so many ways to do things and to help parent(s) find what feels right for them.

I like navigating. It feels like things are possible - we just have to find the unique piece of the puzzle that fits just right for them. And this can look differently for every family.

In less than 24 hrs i have navigated, home, hospital and cesarean birth. I have navigated PROM with gbs+ parents who advocated so well for what felt right for them. I’ve helped navigate breast/chest pumps, postpartum nourishment and then ended the day with tongue-tie and how to choose what might feel right for that family when receiving so many conflicting pieces of advice from IBCLCs, dentists, pediatricians, ENTs…

Doulas! You are not the low end of this spectrum, you’re not the high end of it either. You are just there being you as you need to be and i love us! I love being a doula. Don’t let anyone make you feel like it’s less than! This isn’t a career that is stepping stone to anything else unless you want it to be. And that’s ok too!

So happy to announce that I am officially offering placenta services such as encapsulation, tinctures, salves and prints!

I’ve been doing it for almost a year now for private clients of mine and am now opening my services up, with honor and loads of love, to all who want it.

This is something that has been near and dear to me for a while and past down from generations. I have been learning from my mother, who is a biologist and owns her own . My great grandfather owned an apothecary in Pennsylvania in the early 1900s. I use his pestel and mortar to grind small batches of herbs for medicinal uses for my family.

The herbs used in my placenta salves include locally, organically and sustainably grown plants from my garden upstate. 🌿

Also a shoutout to the beautiful midwife Chloe for passing down her dehydrator to me. 💗
